Jakarta - Produsen mobil Honda menarik kembali 3 mobil andalannya yakni Jazz, Freed, dan City. Apa penyebabnya ketiga mobil populer ini harus masuk bengkel Honda?

Dalam siaran pers dari PT Honda Prospect Motor, Jumat (18/2/2011) ada masalah dalam mesin mobil.

Komponen Lost Motion Spring, yang berfungsi menekan rocker arm (lengang penggerak) pada putaran mesin rendah, setelah kurun waktu tertentu dapat melengkung dan patah sehingga menimbulkan bunyi mesin yang tidak normal.

"Dalam kemungkinan yang terburuk, berpotensi menyebabkan mesin mogok," tulis Honda.

"Merupakan tanggung jawab kami untuk memastikan bahwa seluruh produk kami berada dalam standar tertingginya dalam hal keamanan dan kualitas, bahkan ketika produk tersebut telah berada di tangan konsumen selama bertahun-tahun," ungkap President Director HPM, Yukihiro Aoshima dalam rilis yang detikOto terima, Jumat (18/2/2011).

Jumlah total unit yang teridentifikasi di dalam recall ini adalah 30.252 unit, dengan Vehicle Identification Number mobil sebagai berikut:
